Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of c4mo.com and any services, features, and content made available by c4mo (“c4mo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

c4mo provides a web application for generating procedural camouflage and pattern images via WebAssembly (“WASM”) plugins. The service includes:

  • First-party plugins operated by c4mo and executed on our servers with enforced resource limits.
  • User-uploaded plugins that you or other users may upload. These are executed in your browser, not on our servers.
  • A history of jobs you have run and the resulting images.
  • A free tier and a paid Pro tier with higher usage limits.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old to use c4mo. Authentication is provided via OAuth with third parties (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you use to sign in.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload plugins containing malicious code, including code designed to exfiltrate data, mine cryptocurrency, or abuse browser APIs.
  • Upload plugins you do not have the right to distribute.
  • Use the service to generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property, promotes illegal activity, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service, including by sending excessive traffic, probing for vulnerabilities, or reverse-engineering the first-party plugin runtime.

We reserve the right to remove plugins, content, or accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice.

4. User-uploaded plugins

You retain ownership of the plugin binaries and source you upload. By uploading a plugin, you grant c4mo a limited license to store the binary, make it available to you via the service, and execute its metadata calls as necessary to validate it against our plugin ABI.

User-uploaded plugins run in your browser. c4mo does not execute user-uploaded plugins on our servers and is not responsible for their output.

5. Generated content

You own the images produced by generations you initiate. c4mo stores those images to provide history and export features. We make no claim of ownership over your generated content.

First-party plugin output is licensed to you for personal and commercial use. If a first-party plugin’s output contains elements subject to a third-party license, that license is noted in the plugin’s description.

6. Plans and billing

The Pro plan is a monthly recurring subscription processed through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation is available at any time via the customer portal linked from the Billing page. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

c4mo may change plan pricing or features with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers. Subscribers at the time of a price change will be grandfathered at the prior price for one full billing period.

7. Account deletion

You may request account deletion from the settings page. Deletion initiates a 30-day soft-delete period during which you can restore your account. After 30 days, c4mo permanently deletes your user record, job history, uploaded plugins, and result images. Active Pro subscriptions are canceled at the end of their current billing period when soft-delete is initiated.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. c4mo DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, c4mo AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. c4mo’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID c4mo IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Governing law
